Welcome to SYNKINUP. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SYNKINUP application and services. By using SYNKINUP, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SYNKINUP, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

SYNKINUP is a family coordination platform designed to help families and caregivers stay connected while caring for loved ones. Our services include:

• Shared family circles for coordination
• Medication tracking and reminders
• Shared calendars and scheduling
• Shopping lists and task management
• Mood indicators and daily check-ins
• Photo sharing and messaging
• Secure family communication

Eligibility and Account Requirements

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Users between 13-17 may use SYNKINUP with parental consent
• Users under 13 are not permitted to use our service

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

User Responsibilities and Conduct

Appropriate Use

You agree to:

• Use SYNKINUP only for legitimate family coordination purposes
• Provide accurate information, especially regarding medications and health details
• Respect other family circle members
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Keep your login credentials secure

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Share false, misleading, or harmful information
• Use the service for any illegal activities
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to provide medical advice to others
• Share another person's private information without consent

Medical Disclaimer and Limitations

User Responsibility

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter
• You assume full responsibility for medication management and health decisions
• SYNKINUP is not liable for consequences of medication errors or missed doses
• Always verify medication information with healthcare providers

Family Circle Management

Circle Administration

• Circle creators serve as administrators with additional permissions
• Administrators can add/remove members and manage circle settings
• All circle members can contribute and access shared information

Information Sharing

• Information shared in family circles is visible to all circle members
• You consent to sharing your contributed information with circle members
• Removing someone from a circle stops future access but doesn't delete previously shared information

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

• New users receive a 14-day free trial
• No charges during trial period
• Cancel anytime during trial without charges

Paid Subscriptions

• Subscription fees are charged in advance
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Accounts may be suspended for non-payment

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Service continues until end of current billing period
• Data may be deleted after account cancellation

Intellectual Property

SYNKINUP Property

• SYNKINUP owns all rights to the application, technology, and brand
• Our trademarks, logos, and content are protected
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create and share
• You grant SYNKINUP permission to store and facilitate sharing within your family circles
• You represent that you have rights to share all content you upload

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and use practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Service Availability and Modifications

Service Availability

• We strive for reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service
• We are not liable for service interruptions

Modifications

• We may modify or discontinue features with notice
• We may update these Terms periodically
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

SYNKINUP is provided without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limited Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• SYNKINUP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim
• We are not liable for user-generated content or third-party actions

Medical Disclaimer

SYNKINUP is not liable for:

• Medical decisions made using information from our platform
• Medication errors or missed medications
• Health outcomes related to caregiving coordination
• Delays in medical care due to app usage

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SYNKINUP harmless from claims arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Information you provide or share
• Your caregiving decisions

Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through app settings or by contacting support.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended inactivity

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

Informal Resolution

Before formal legal action, we encourage contacting us to resolve disputes informally.

Arbitration

Disputes may be subject to binding arbitration as detailed in our separate arbitration provision.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the complete agreement between you and SYNKINUP.

Severability
